The BRIGHT draws near and now is the exodus.

Illuminations come alive, the only world you’ve known is threatened. It is the brink of apocalypse as the great BRIGHT obliterates everything it passes. Or so they say. None have come back to claim otherwise.

Escape. Call your kith and kin and embark across the Chapters. Save others if you can. Listen not to the heresy of salvation. Let not the strangeries of the world delay your flight. Reach the end of Manuscript and pray you may go beyond.

And so begins your flight from the BRIGHT! 

Play as medieval illuminations come to life in Illuminated! Flee the coming catastrophe and journey across Manuscript. Crawl through Chapters and encounter the zany, bizarre, and possibly even the dramatic. Convince others to flee with you if you can! 

Embody such eccentric Backgrounds as Snailcat, Milk Cow, Headless Warrior, Armed Flasher, Fox Wizard, and Penis Gatherer.

Featuring mechanics pilfered from and inspired by such games as Into the Odd, Mausritter, and The Labyrinth Adventure Game.
